HOLIDAYMAKERS will take home a tune when they visit Wardle Travel this month.

Staff at the Wrexham travel retailer have been learning the words to some of Britain's favourite classical anthems so they can teach their customers to sing.

They are helping concert-goers get in the mood for a new classical music spectacular later this month.

Travel advisers at the store in Lord Street, Wrexham, have learned Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory in advance of the release of tickets for Live at Wedgwood.

Wardle Travel is the official distributor of tickets for the classical concert on Saturday, July 24.

The store, which has already been dubbed Warble Travel, is expecting tickets to sell quickly.

'We came up with the idea of learning the words and teaching our customers to sing numbers from Last Night of the Proms as a fun way to add value to the purchase of tickets,' said branch manager Sallyann Hodgson.

Live at Wedgwood will see Britain's oldest symphony orchestra, the Hallé, performing an open-air concert in the historic grounds of the famous pottery company.
