THERE was a little magic in the air at the February meeting of Rossett WI.
The members enjoyed a fascinating talk entitled The Magic of Toys given by magician and collector Mr McGregor, who demonstrated a number of his antique mechanical and clockwork toys and had everyone puzzling over his repertoire of conjuring tricks.
He was thanked by vice-president Jane Watson. Janet Butterwick won the competition for a childhood toy; second was Marjorie Aston.
The next meeting will be a talk entitled Children I have Known by Wynne Bradley on Wednesday March 9 at 7.30 pm in the Church Hall. New members always very welcome.
