CADET Warrant Officer Jessica Bell of 2375 (Neston) Squadron has been a real high flyer in her years with the Air Training Corps.

Not only has she proven herself in the squadron, she has also represented the unit at wing, regional and corps levels in a variety of sports.

She was recently nominated for Best Female Cadet for 2007 for the Duke of Westminster Award and also for International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE).

In her quest for the Duke of Westminster Award she has undertaken BTEC in both aviation studies and public services and written an essay on a community project.

If selected she could win a cheque and a three-week trip to Africa.

She has been successful in her bid for IACE and will be going to Canada in the summer.

While all this has been happening, she has been studying hard for her A-levels with the aim of qualifying as a medical officer with the RAF.
