A SMALL number of tickets are still available for the mayor of Ellesmere Port’s Charity Ball.

Held in the town’s Civic Hall this Friday from 7.30pm, guests will enjoy a three-course meal and entertainment from Buckle Tongue, The Fleet and Torn Over Time.

All proceeds to the mayor’s charity fund will go to local groups working with young people, Cancer Research UK, Heart Health and the Women and Children’s Hospital at the Countess of Chester.

Prizes for the raffle have been pouring in from local companies including the Seahorse Pub, Co-op Funeral Care Little Sutton, W Williams and Son funeral services, Pernickety Hair, Stage Fright, Burleydam Garden Centre, Grow How UK, Ellesmere Port Lions, Gordale Garden Centre and Quinn Glass to name just a few.

Prizes include hampers, vouchers, signed footballs and football stadium tours and even a six-foot Christmas tree.

Mayor of Ellesmere Port, councillor Pat Merrick, said: “I would encourage residents to come along and share what promises to be a great evening.”

Tickets cost £30 and are available now by contacting Rebecca on 01244 977700 or emailing civicofficeellesmereport@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk.

Tickets may be bought singly, or in tables of ten.
