TWO teenagers suspected of killing a Mid-Cheshire College student in a hit-and-run have had their bail extended.

The pair, both from Winsford, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the death of 17-year-old Ashley O’Brien on Saturday, January 31.

Ashley, of Collingtree Avenue, Winsford, suffered multiple injuries after being hit by a red Vauxhall Corsa on Road One of Winsford Industrial Estate while walking home from a night out at 1.35am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and the car was found abandoned at a roundabout a short distance away.

Two males, aged 16 and 17, both from Winsford, were arrested and released on bail, which was extended yesterday until the end of April.
