A TEENAGE burglar released from a young offenders’ institute six weeks ago has been told she will be locked up again after admitting SIX break-ins in one night.

Samantha Morgan, 18, of Bramhall Close, Winsford, pleaded guilty to two charges of burglary at Vale Royal Magistrates Court on Thursday, and asked for four more offences to be taken into consideration when she is sentenced.

Karen Morgan-Read, prosecuting, said all six offences were committed during a four-hour “spree” in the early hours of Saturday, July 26.

A £6,000 Hyundai Terracan was stolen from Chesterfield Close at about 5am after the defendant broke into a house and stole the keys. Houses were earlier targeted at The Loont and Warwick Place.

Morgan was jailed for three months on March 19 for stealing £290 worth of alcohol from the One Stop Shop, Delamere Street and 12 wedding dresses worth more than £8,000 from Tiaras and Tails, also on Delamere Street.

Miss Morgan-Read told the court: “This defendant has an unenviable record for a young girl and she has been given chances by the court but committed further offences.”

Morgan was refused bail and will be remanded in custody until she is sentenced at Chester Crown Court on August 27. Her co-accused, a 17-year-old Winsford male, is also in custody and will appear at Vale Royal Youth Court on Wednesday.
