A teenager has been charged with possession of a knife in a public park.
Cheshire Police received a report of anti-social behaviour in Whitby Park, Ellesmere Port, at about 7.40pm on Monday (August 24).
Officers attended the scene where a 17-year-old boy was arrested.
Following questioning, he was charged with possession of a knife/sharp bladed article in a public place, possession of a controlled Class B substance (cannabis) and use of threatening/abusive language.
He has been bailed and was due to appear at West Cheshire Youth Court today (August 25).
