THE fundraising team at Nightingale House Hospice is looking for enthusiastic teams of 10 to take part in an It’s A Knockout Challenge.

The event takes place on Saturday, June 13, as part of the hospice’s summer fair, at Belle Vue Park, Wrexham.

Margaret Hollings, community fundraiser at Nightingale House Hospice, said: “It’s a Knockout consists of exciting games involving inflatable slides and lots of water – as well as lots of laughs!”

Anyone can take part – a team from your local pub, a sports group, a company in need of a team building exercise, a group of parents who want to show their kids what they are made of, or school children who want to challenge their teachers or class mates.

The only restriction is you must be more than a metre tall. There is no restriction on age, but under 16s must be supervised by an adult.

“The It’s A Knockout challenge gives you the chance to get wet, go a little wild and compete against other teams while raising money for Nightingale House”, added Margaret.

It costs £500 per team, with a £75 deposit and you will be expected to get sponsorship for your team.
