CHILDREN can learn more about tasty fruit and vegetables and growing their own food at Tatton Park’s ‘Grow Your Own’ week, which runs until Sunday.
The event aims to highlight the benefits of eating and growing fruit and vegetables.
Children can explore the walled kitchen gardens, take part in a garden trail quiz and visit a ‘drop in’ centre to pot and take away their own pumpkin seed.
The gardens are open from 10am-6pm (last entry 5pm) and entry is free to National Trust members. Admission for non-members is £4.50 for adults, £2.50 for children and £11.50 for family tickets.
