A dressage rider from Tarporley is the new junior novice champion and reserve junior elementary champion.
Georgia Twaddell, 17, who attends Tarporley High School Sixth Form, won the accolades at the recent dressage U21s UK Winter Championships held at Bury Farm Equestrian Village in Leighton Buzzard.
Georgia also scored the highest score of the day at 76% as well as winning the Best Member and Young Horse in both sections.
Georgia, who is based at the Folly Farm Equestrian Centre in Tarporley and rides for the North West BYRDS team, hopes to be representing them again in the forthcoming season.
