A POPULAR swimming company which runs classes for mothers and their new-born babies has won a national award.
Water Babies, which locally holds sessions at McDonald Craxton Wood Hotel in Ledsham and the Holiday Inn in Ellesmere Port, has been named Best Children’s Activity Provider by baby charity, Tommy’s.
The presentation was made at a ceremony held in London.
Tracey Allison, who runs Water Babies in Chester and Ellesmere Port with partner Alison Ogden, said: “We are all incredibly proud of our achievement.
“As a network of small family-run businesses, it’s amazing to win in a national competition, especially where all the other winners are major high street names.
“We all absolutely love our jobs and to receive this kind of recognition is just the icing on the cake. We are so proud of the work that all our team of instructors do.”
