STAFF at Wrexham Training celebrated St David's Day by tucking into a mound of traditional Welsh cakes.
Employees of the training centre at Felin Puleston - part of Coleg Llysfasi - were also given badges from the Welsh Language Board which indicate that the wearer is 'Ddwyieithog' (bilingual) or 'Yn Dysgu Cymraeg' (learning Welsh).
Llysfasi's marketing manager, Rhian Wyn Roberts, said: 'Wrexham Training wanted to celebrate St David's Day, as it is a very important day for Wales.
'A number of our staff are either bilingual or learning to speak Welsh through our language training programmes.
'Nurturing and utilising the Welsh language is a priority at the college.
'Not only do we offer in- house training to our own staff, but we are also able to work within organisations and business to offer Welsh language training, as well as offering a wide range of Welsh for adults training within the community.
'We felt it was only right to celebrate our staff's commitment to the language and offer them a chance to show everyone their Welsh skills by wearing one of the badges produced by The Welsh Language Board - and, of course, tempting them with some lovely Welsh cakes.'
