Supermarket Aldi donates trolley-load of equipment to community allotment in Ellesmere Port

A SUPERMARKET has helped to get a community allotment off the ground by donating gardening equipment.

Aldi, in Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port, handed over a trolley full of equipment to PCSOs Matt Fullagar and Wendy Rowlands for use in the Milton Road allotments in Ellesmere Port.

The trolley included spades, trowels, gardening bags, forks, rakes, a compost eco box, plant pots, shears, brushes and children’s sun tan lotion and more.

PCSO Matt Fullagar said: “This is a great boost for our project and I want to thank Aldi for their help and generosity.”
