BUDDING performers can dance and sing their way through the summer holidays.

Little Actors Theatre Company is offering a performing arts summer school in Neston.

From August 8-12, at the Neston Community and Youth Centre on Burton Road, children aged seven-11 will attend from 10am-3pm each day.

The course will be led by professional actress Leila Chebbi who will start each day with a dance workshop and voice warm up.

The remainder of the day will be spent on drama where the children will devise a play to be shown to parents at the end of the week.

The whole week costs £50 per child and a grant from Neston Town Council means there are free places for children from low income families.

Places are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis so book early to avoid disappointment.

Children will need to bring a packed lunch each day but a tuck shop offering healthy snacks and drinks with a price range of 25p-50p will also be open.

Artistic director Samantha Giblin said: “We would welcome anyone who would like to volunteer on this project. Volunteering could involve running the tuck shop, lunch break supervision or be as detailed as assisting the director.

“It’s a great opportunity to learn from a professional actor and to support our children developing their creativity.”
