SUTTON Green Primary School will hold its summer fair this Saturday.
Many of last year’s popular activities will return, including the school council stall, as well as new and exciting activities such as the zumba and gymnastic displays.
This year the school is pleased to welcome the Vikings to Sutton Green.
The Sutton Green PTA is formed from volunteer parents and teachers.
Throughout the year, the PTA arranges various events such as children’s discos, Christmas and Easter bingos as well as race and comedy nights, but its major fundraising event of the year is the summer fair.
The money raised from all these events is invested back into the school.
Recently it has funded learning through play equipment for the reception children’s outside play area, gardening equipment, pop-up gazebos for use at sports days and other outdoor events, and donations towards transportation for school trips.
The fair starts at 2pm, and don’t forget to hold on to your programme for the prize draw when you could win £20 of M&S vouchers.
