YALE Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Students have been turning heads.
The talented students have scooped an outstanding set of awards in a national competition.
The final round of the Association of Hairdressers and Therapists competition was held at the G-Mex Manchester International Convention Centre.
Four students from the college studying full time for NVQs won awards at the event.
Yale students dominated the Nail Art event, with Sarah-Jane Capper winning first prize and fellow students Karen Williams coming second and Stephanie Jones taking fourth. And in the Ladies Cut & Blow Dry competition Sarah Gibson came third.
Yale lecturer Paula Hancock-Wood said: 'The competition was intense, with colleges from all over the UK competing, from as far away as Aberdeen.
'We're really proud of our students - they had to work to an extremely high standard to win. It is an important competition win for them and one which they can add to their portfolios.'
