A STUNNING West Cheshire College student is one step away from reaching the 2008 Miss England finals.
Heather Elrick-Tobin, 18, who started a beauty therapy course at the Ellesmere Port campus last September, is aiming to be crowned Miss ModelZed.
If she wins the final in Leicester on May 31, she will represent the agency in the Miss England competition in London this summer.
Heather, who comes from Chester, said: “I’m really excited but quite nervous as we will be getting marked on different things.
“For example, there is an evening wear round and an outrageous club wear round, which is good as you get a chance to show off your personality.
“You also get marked on how you interact with the other girls during the event.
“Modelling is something I’ve always been interested in and I’ve been involved in a few contests, including Miss British Isles.”
ModelZed, based in the Midlands, represents professional models, artists and promotional staff and runs one of the few contests that provides direct entry into the Miss England Finals.
Heather is currently looking for a sponsor to help with her costs. If you can help, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
