THE Wrexham heat of the Yours Silver Stars Talent Contest takes place on April 1.
Organisers are seeking contestants among the over-60's.
The heat will be held at the Memorial Hall, Wrexham, and the winner not only picks up a fabulous mid-week break at Warner's Bodelwyddan Castle but will go on to represent Wrexham at the North West Regional Final in Southport on June 1.
Contestants must be over 60 and be residents of Wrexham County Borough, Denbighshire, Chester or North Shropshire.
Solo artists and acts of up to four people can enter.
Anyone wishing to take part should contact the Memorial Hall on 01978 292683 to request an application form. The closing date is Friday, March 18.
Last year's winner, vocal impressionist Johnny Whittaker, went on to win the Regional Final in Southport and represented Wrexham at the Grand Final itself.
