STANLAW Abbey Children’s Centre were delighted when an appeal for a minibus to shuttle young children was quickly answered.
Ellesmere Port’s University Church of England Academy has helped families wanting to use the centre by providing a minibus and driver.
A spokesman explained: “Stanlaw Abbey Children’s Centre would like to thank Mr Kevin McDermott, Principal of the Church of England Academy South Campus for their generosity in providing a minibus and driver, (Mr John Newsome) to help transport families to the centre. Without their help families who live in more isolated areas would not have been able to access the centre.
She added: “Mr Lynch, maintenance officer at the school stated that we are always here to help and assist in the local community.”
