A NEW sports shop is opening in Ellesmere Port town centre, creating 40 jobs.
Sportsdirect.com opens the doors to its store in Marina Walk on Wednesday, and will being offering top brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma and Lonsdale.
The store is currently in the process of recruiting part-time and full-time staff.
A spokesperson said: “Sportsdirect.com are currently recruiting up to 40 members of staff at various levels for this new store, with the potential for fast career progression with the UK’s No 1 sports retailer.
“The store will bring exciting developments to Ellesmere Port as well as a boost to the local economy and job market.”
