STAFF from the Spar store Rhosddu have visited Nightingale House Hospice to hand over a cheque for £2,500.
In total £250 was raised in store, which was match funded by the company, and £2,000 was donated by the Blakemore Trust.
Rhosddu Spar store manager, Jan Cruise, said: “We chose to support Nightingale House Hospice because it is part of the community and it’s also a cause which is close to the hearts of many of our staff and our customers.”
Caroline Siddall, hospice income generation director, said: “Thank you to Spar for choosing to support Nightingale House Hospice.
“We are fortunate to receive excellent support from the communities which we serve, for which we are enormously grateful. ”
