MUSICAL maestro Sophie Rosa from Cuddington has been presented with a silver trophy by Vale Royal Lions to congratulate her on reaching the European finals of the Lions International Music Competition.
Members of the Vale Royal branch are sponsoring violinist Sophie in the competition which reaches its climax in the south of France in October.
Sophie, who will be representing the UK and Ireland, was a semi- finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year and is a student at the Royal Northern College of Music.
