SOLDIERS from The Queen’s Dragoon Guards (The Welsh Cavalry) will be marching through Wrexham today (Thursday) to mark their 50th anniversary, after a six-month tour of Afghanistan.

Guards will assemble in Queen’s Square at 11am and march to Llwyn Isaf Green.

They will then march to Rhosddu Road, Argyll Street and Hope Street where the mayor and Lord Lieutenant will take the salute opposite the former Marks and Spencer building.

They will then march along High Street, York Street, Mount Street, Salop Road and Kingsmill Road.
