THE Hospice of the Good Shepherd is offering people the chance to have their photographic skills on show in its 2009 calendar.
The Backford hospice is setting a challenge to all in the Ellesmere Port area to use their imagination and submit a suitable photograph for potential inclusion.
Hospice spokeswoman Amanda le Bretton said: “As our calendar is always popular, your photo could be seen by many people throughout the area and even abroad.”
The hospice is looking for images of a UK landscape or place of interest and the competition is open to all ages.
You can send your photographs, together with your name, address, age if under 16, telephone number and e-mail address, to: Digital Photograph Competition, Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Gordon Lane, Backford, Chester.
Please include a stamped addressed envelope if you wish your photograph to be returned.
The closing date is Thursday, May 1.
For more information, call the fundraising team – which has recently left its base in Chester Road, Whitby, to move back to the hospice itself – on 01244 851811.
During 2008 the hospice needs to raise more than £6,000 each day – can you help it achieve this goal to ensure the future care of others? Call the fundraising team if you are able to help.
