A MOTORWAY slip road will be closed this weekend for repairs.
The Bowdon View Bridge link off the M56 at Junction 7 will be shut having been restricted to one lane since 2006. In order to complete the £1.5m scheme, with a final phase of bridge works, the slip road will close between 10pm on Friday and 5am on Monday.
Diversions via Junction 9 of the M56 will be in place to help drivers.
Highways Agency project manager Phil Hardy-Bishop said: “We have aimed as always, to keep disruption to drivers to a minimum but I would like to thank drivers for their patience over the last few months while this work has been going on.”
