AFTER a four-week break from gigs, the Banned in Northwich music night returns to Winnington Rec with a three-band line-up on Friday.

Headlining on the night will be Northwich lads Skinless Finger.

No-one can accuse Skinless Finger of a lack of originality! They play a mixture of funk with extracts of the finest jazz and rock, and ignite it with the spirit of true hip hop.

Support comes from Liverpool’s heavy metal outfit Hades Chariot.

They have built a long-term fan base and swelled the ranks of their admirers with recent EP release Experimental Cannibalism.

A promotional tour covering most of England produced a big response and the band is in demand to play Europe and America.

With tracks such as ‘The Shotgun Facial’, ‘Poseidon’s Last Breath’ and ‘Elysium’, the band is making waves.

Opening the night will be Guns on the Roof from Leeds.

The Yorkshire outfit pull their influences from the record collections of their parents from the 70s and 80s.

They flavour that with modern day American bands such as Green Day and Rancid.

They released their debut album ‘Pure Punk Rock Therapy’ in late 2005 and it won them some acclaim.

Check them all out at Winnington Park Recreation Club in Park Road, Northwich. Doors open at 8pm and entry is £4.50.
