EAGLES Meadow in Wrexham, which opened its doors to the public last week, is giving visitors the chance to enjoy local music and entertainment while they shop this weekend.

Music in the Meadows is taking place on tomorrow, Saturday, November 8, and Sunday at the shopping centre and includes musical performances from the Rhos Male Voice Choir, Dance Jive, Delta Academy of Performing Arts and local saxophone quartet Saxafaction.

There will also be performances from children’s and youth theatre groups including Theatretrain and the Bite Size Youth Theatre and on Sunday the Grove Park Theatre will be performing Aladdin at 11am.

Simon Pullen, centre manager for Eagles Meadow, said: “For our second weekend since opening, we wanted to bring some music into the centre for shoppers to enjoy, while at the same time giving some local community acts the opportunity to showcase their talents to the people of Wrexham.

“We’ve certainly got a good mix of music and entertainment styles with the Rhos Male Voice Choir, to Saxafaction and Dance Jive and with the various theatre groups, there’s going to be something for everyone at Eagles Meadow this weekend.”
