SHOPPERS can go on an Olympic-themed gold medal hunt at the Port Arcades shopping centre in Ellesmere Port.
Eagle-eyed shoppers who spot all 10 of the medals, strategically placed in shop windows throughout the centre on Saturday, July 21, will be in with a chance of winning four tickets to watch Team GB’s first football match at Old Trafford on Thursday, July 26.
As Team GB prepares to go for gold at the London 2012 Olympics, the centre will offer every shopper who spots all the medals their own chocolate gold medal as well as entry into the prize draw.
Entry forms can be collected from and returned to the ‘medal’ desk, which will be set up in the mall between 10am and 2pm.
Port Arcades Shopping Centre manager Les Lyon said: “The Olympic Games of 2012 is such an identifying moment for our country and we are as excited as our customers about the event.
“We thought this would be a lovely way to get young and old alike in the mood for gold medals, of which hopefully Team GB will be winning very many.”
