THE first in a series of ‘men and their children’ nights at Barnton Primary School has been hailed a huge success.
The evening enabled mums to take a well deserved break while dads and other male family members joined youngsters at the school for a range of activities including trampolining, golf, tae kwon-do, table tennis and Wii.
Players from Northwich Vics also attended to help the school promote the positive role that men can play in the lives of pupils.
A school spokeswoman said: “We hope that by including male family members more, we may be able to tap into their skills and experiences to further enhance pupils’ education. This is also a great way for our pupils to celebrate their school alongside other members of the family”
