POLICE investigating the murder of Warrington teenager Shafilea Ahmed have re-bailed eight people arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
The eight are all members of Shafilea's family but do not include the teenager's parents.
The group had been due to answer bail at a Cheshire police station today but they have been re-bailed until September 13.
Shafilea's badly decomposed body was pulled from the river Kent in Cumbria in February 2004.
Her father Ifitkar and mother Farzana, who had been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, were released without charge last July.
