A THREE-year-old boy was indecently assaulted in a supermarket toilet.

He had gone in with his father in the Warrington branch of Tesco.

But when his father went into the baby changing room, a man in his 40s indecently assaulted the boy.

The attacker has a squat face with a pointed chin, and a mark or growth on his upper left cheek.

Aged around 45, he has a bulbous nose with a slim bridge, and wavy hair down to his ears.

Security has now been stepped up at the Winwick Road store.

The attack at 12.50pm on October 17 may be linked to an incident the Friday before when a 14-year-old boy complained that a man in his 40s looked under a cubicle door and stared at him.

A police spokesman said: "We are warning members of the public to be vigilant when using any public toilets. If they see anyone acting suspiciously they should report it to the police."

Anyone with information can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
