KIND-HEARTED fundraiser Will Butters is searching for a deserving cause to benefit from his next gig.

His last charity concert in March raised £1,500 to brighten up life for Northwich teenager Stacey Preston, 13, who has spent most of her life in and out of hospital with life-threatening disease mitochondrial cytopathy.

Thanks to the gig her family were buy her a special wheelchair for when she goes out of doors.

Now Will is organising another charity gig at Owley Wood Club on October 10 and is keen to donate the money to another child in need.

He said: “We are looking to support a local child who has a specific need that an event like this could benefit. People can either ring me on 01606 74679 or e-mail me at will@willbut66.freeserve.co.uk.

“We have a fabulous night of entertainment lined up, a mixture of 60’s and Soul music featuring California Blue and the Soul Society.

“Tickets are only £6 each and we will be reserving tables for those who book for six people or more on a first come first served basis.

“We are urging everyone to book early because there is a fire limit on the number of tickets we can sell.”

Tickets are available from Will on the above number and also the club on 01606 853267.
