THERE were goals galore in the Ellesmere Port and District Sunday League Premier Division at the weekend.

Grace (Ben Sherlock and Scott Rowley) secured a hard-fought away 2-1 win at Sporting Westminster (Sean Gratix).

Westminster (Lee Salisbury, Sean Weaver, Paul Fraser 2) managed four goals to GMC FC’s one (Stuart Booth), while Wing Half (Mike and Danny Page) narrowly beat Old Wirral Hundred (Billy Thompson) 2-1.

In the division’s only other fixture Cat (Chaney Lloyd 2, Chris Gear) managed a 3-1 away win at Woodlands (Michael Scott).

There were also goals a plenty in Division One as Hope Farm Rangers won 6-2 away at Grace Reserves, thanks largely to a five-goal display from Lee Hearn.

SCFC94 spread the goals around during their 7-1 hammering of Bull.

But that heavy defeat seems mild compared to Seahorse’s 16-0 demolition of Yeoman.

Danny Riley, Marc Roberts, Matty Earlam, Adam Cliberry and Lee Youds were among the scorers for the home side as they ran in the result of the weekend.

Darren Garfield helped himself to two goals as Sir Robert beat Travellers Rest 5-2.

WG Direct (Mike Urmston and Danny Lynch) and Woodlands Athletic (Andy Stubbs, Lee Howard) played out a 2-2 score draw.
