WREXHAM manager Dean Saunders last night made Manchester City defender Sam Williamson his second loan signing of the week.
And the Dragons boss is hoping the 21-year old, a member of City’s FA Youth Cup-winning side last season, will agree a permanent move in the New Year.
Williamson is set to make his debut at Stevenage Borough on Saturday, together with Cardiff City striker Jonathan Brown, whose month-long stay at the Racecourse was agreed on Wednesday.
Saunders said: “Sam has come in until January 3, but with a view to a permanent move on a free transfer. He can play either left back or left midfield, he is young and from good stock, having been at a Premiership club, and is exactly the sort of player I want.”
