REALITY TV show winner Samantha Evans of Prestatyn has signed up for the Ladies’ Midnight Walk to raise money for the Nightingale House Hospice at Wrexham.

Samantha, 20, was recently crowned winner of make-up brand Benefit’s new advertising campaign after taking part in the reality TV show, ‘Coleen’s Real Women’.

She is delighted to put her new found celebrity to good use and is more than happy to put her best foot forward for her local charity. Ladies’ Midnight Walk takes places on Saturday, June 27.

Samantha said: “I can’t wait to take part in the sponsored 10-mile walk for Nightingale House Hospice, it sounds like it will be a great night.”

“On my recent visit to the hospice, I was amazed at what a lovely, friendly and welcoming place it was, with such wonderful resources and staff. It is such an amazing place and I am happy to do whatever I can to help them reach their funding goal for this year.”

Nightingale House Hospice provides specialist palliative care services, completely free-of-charge, to patients and their families across a wide area including Wrexham, Flintshire, East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch. This year alone, it will cost £2.55 million to run the hospice, which equates to £7,000 per day. Only 18% of this comes from statutory government sources. The Hospice relies on the generosity of the communities it serves.
