Rossmore Residents’ Association is celebrating the success of its first-ever family fun day, held at the end of July.

Hundreds of people turned up to join in the fun and activities, which were organised by the newly-formed association.

And local businesses, such as Vauxhall’s and the Co-op, were eager to show their support too, by donating a number of gifts and prizes.

Councillor Justin Madders said: “The success of the day is entirely down to the hard work and enthusiasm of local people.

“It’s a great way to publicise the launch of the association and give residents a bigger say about the future of their neighbourhood.”
