Rossett environmental group receive grant for keeping the village clean and tidy

ROSSETT environmentalists have secured a £500 grant to keep the village clean.

Wrexham AM Lesley Griffiths was on hand to present Rossett Environmental Community Action Programme (RECAP) with the money from Keep Wales Tidy’s Tidy Towns Project.

The funding will provide tools to help with the litter clearance in and around Rossett.

It will also help support RECAP’s aim of clearing and improving the extensive rights of way network, tree planting and habitat improvement.

Ms Griffiths said: “This grant is very well deserved and I know it will be put to very good use.”
