TALENTED Hannah Meakin is on her way to becoming a singing sensation after starting lessons with the former voice coach of pop star Robbie Williams.

Hannah, 13, from Springwell Close, Wistaston, won the borough council's Star Quest talent show in August.

To help her make it big she is now taking lessons with Stockport-based voice coach Sheila Gott who helped Robbie Williams and the rest of Take That in 1992.

Sheila said: 'They could all sing. I just helped them come out of themselves, just like I will do with Hannah.

'She has great potential and a really nice voice. I'm sure she will do well.'

Sheila will help Hannah to strengthen her voice and adapt to a range of muscial styles.

'Basically, I will teach Hannah to become more versatile,' she said.

Hannah's father, Arthur Meakin, said: 'We are so proud of her. She loves singing solo and she can adapt to any kind of music, from ballads to country and western. She truly has the voice of an angel.'
