THE Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Backford, has become the second major charity to benefit from Chester’s Rhino Mania event this summer.

The public art event will transform the city over 10 weeks in the summer when up to 70 artistically decorated fibreglass rhinos will animate the streets.

Afterwards the rhinos will be auctioned, with proceeds to local charities including the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, which is celebrating 21 years of providing palliative care to the people of West Cheshire and North Wales.

The hospice joins Chester Zoo’s Black Rhino Field Conservation programme in benefiting from the spectacular.
