WREXHAM manager Denis Smith has turned to an unlikely saviour to help the Dragons through their goalkeeping crisis tonight.

Mark Morris, the club's 36-year-old football in the community officer, is set to don the gloves for tonight's Pontins Reserve League fixture against Rochdale.

Morris, who runs a junior goalkeeping school along with injured Racecourse shot-stopper Andy Dibble, also coaches the Wrexham keepers - those fit enough to train - and the Wales under-21s custodians.

The Football League gave the all-clear for Morris to play.
