RHOS Police Station has closed its doors for a total refit but most of the staff will have a temporary new home in the council offices behind the Stiwt in Peter Street.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of October but until then PCs Dave Bates and Mark Williams, of Penycae, will be based at the new office just two minutes walk from the police station.
Community beat manager Sgt Jim Staunton and PC Ann Batstone, who will be temporarily covering the Johnstown area, will also be based there.
District Inspector Paul Firth said: 'The station in Rhos needed major changes internally which meant we couldn't realistically continue to operate from the building. The emergency area car will be stationed in Cefn and will offer the same cover as was provided from Rhos.
'I was keen to maintain local policing within Rhos and the council and Stiwt stepped in to help. We are grateful for their support.'
