FLINT Town United manager Paul Davies has signed former Connah’s Quay Nomads and Buckley Town striker Graham Randles and includes him in his side for today’s home game against Bodedern.
Flint will have also new signing Liam Jones from Airbus available, together with Paul Davies and Liam Jones.
“Graham is an experienced player and I’m hoping he will link up with Sean Beck and get us some points,” said Davies following the 3-0 midweek home defeat by leaders Prestatyn.
“We were the better side for the first 20 minutes but then they took over, and I must say I was very impressed with Prestatyn indeed. They are the best I’ve seen.”
Holyhead Hotspur, who now they have the right set-up at the New Stadium for their Welsh Premier bid, are failing on the pitch according to manager Campbell Harrison, writes Keith Evans.
Harrison will issue a wake-up call to his under-performing players ahead of today’s visit to Lex, who they beat three times last season.
Harrison said: “We have banked seven points out of 12 but it should have been 12 out of 12 on the chances we created – and it is frustrating.”
Robin Hodgkinson and Simon Davies return, while Darren Garmey is missing with work commitments.
Penrhyncoch will be without their two leading goalscorers as they make today’s trip to Ruthin Town, writes John Bridgwater.
Player-boss Gavin Allen is out with a back ligament injury, while fellow striker Tony Jones is sidelined by an ankle injury.
“It’s a big blow to have us out as last year we scored over 35 goals between us,” said Allen.
