A UNIQUE radio broadcast took place at St Saviour’s Church Hall in Great Sutton on Tuesday.

Radio Merseyside’s Roger Phillips took to the airwaves at the building with a specially invited audience to discuss issues concerning the areas.

The station visited the Tarporley Road building as it bids to reach out to the communities it broadcasts to.

Ledsham Manor Action Group attended to discuss Redrow’s plans to build 2,000 homes south of Ledsham Road in Little Sutton.

Opposition is growing despite a formal planning application still not yet expected until the end of April.

Pioneer reporter Laurie Stocks-Moore was invited to be on a panel to discuss topical issues alongside Martin Booth from West Cheshire’s Citizens Advice Bureau before the residents – including fundraiser Celia Webber and Little Sutton resident Jenny Martell – posed their own questions to host Roger Phillips.
