Children from The Oaks Community Primary School, in Ellesmere Port, donated a mountain of food as part of harvest festival celebrations. Parents and carers were invited to a whole  school assembly where each class showcased their work. Classes had worked hard all week preparing songs, poems and plays.

Highlights included a Harvest Rock ‘n’ Roll song and an outstanding performance of The Little Red Hen .

Harvest hampers are due to be delivered to members of the local community this week.
