CHILDREN at a primary school in Willaston played a lead role in the design of their new website.
Willaston CE Primary School will launch a site after Year 4 pupils were asked to look at the websites of other schools and give their comments on what appeals to them most.
The school was looking for a site that would be easy and engaging to use by both current and prospective parents.
The provider chosen by the school builds websites for well known high street names and was selected as they were able to offer an innovative site especially suited to the school.
A school spokesperson said: “Why not Google our website and click on the school bus to get details of this year’s residentials and visits, or select the forest to see pupils enjoying outdoor learning as part of the forest school initiative.”
The site is due to go live by Friday in time for the start of the new academic year and will be found at www.willastonceprimaryschool.co.uk.
