CHESHIRE Police Authority are holding a public meeting on the war against terror on April 8 at 7pm at the Town hall, Sandbach.

Anne Doran, who will chair the meeting said, “There will be talk given by Special Branch about the fight against terrorism and the significant role the public can play in helping the police tackle the current threat. This will show the less well known side of policing which few people hear about until there is a major incident which hits the headlines. We don’t want this to happen in Cheshire but people may be surprised at the impact that terrorism has had close to home.”
