A BEAT-UP Land Rover has been transformed into a “musical sculpture” by a group of young art students from Halton.
The vehicle, which doubles up as a mobile club, has been developed at Riverside College.
A team, supervised by the Brindley’s artistic director Martin Cox, working with engineers from Land Rover and the college, have been gaining important skills including design and car maintenance as the project has progressed.
Martin said: “The project was about giving young people, who experience difficulties accessing opportunities an opportunity to do something that is challenging and inspiring.
“We wanted to bring together the arts and engineering elements to offer an experience that breaks down boundaries and is unique.”
