WREXHAM striker Michael Proctor is determined to put right the wrongs of last season and help guide the Dragons back into the Football League.

Proctor, who was transfer-listed by boss Brian Little at the end of a disastrous campaign last season that saw Wrexham relegated to the Blue Square Premier, believes everyone at the club has a point to prove.

The 27-year-old striker said: “Obviously a lot of us from last season know we have got a lot of wrongs to put right.

“We’ve all got points to prove after last season and we owe it to the fans to put them right and get off to a winning start in the league.

“I think it is also a matter of personal pride, and we have got to get the season off on the right foot.”

Proctor, who was integral to Wrexham avoiding relegation the previous season while on loan, also paid tribute to the fans.

“We definitely owe the fans something from last season,” he said. “Even in the position we were in they still came in their numbers. We owe them all some good performances and a team that is winning matches and scoring goals.”
