WHITBY High School teacher Mike Royden will be doing a presentation about Liverpool’s history at Borders.
The historian will be starting his talk at the store on The Coliseum at 7pm on November 27.
The event coincides with the recent launch of Cassini Maps’ Liverpool Great Cities Historical Map Collection, which Mike did a write-up for on the 1850s period.
The collection traces a significant chapter of the city’s history between 1840 and 1947 and contains four enlarged maps, which were originally published during that period.
The maps also cover areas such as Southport, Runcorn, Wigan and part of Wirral.
