AFTER a successful first pop singing course Northwich-based arts group DAN is organising another in Rudheath.
The eight-week programme will run every Thursday from April 30 until Thursday, July 9 (May 7, 14 and 28 not included) at the youth club on Gadbrook Road, from 6.30-8pm.
Anyone aged 12 and over who thinks they have the ‘X-Factor’ can take part. The course costs £30.
Organiser Nick Hughes said: “Singers will work together on popular songs by a variety of artists. The course will cover pop harmonies, performance skills, basic vocal technique and confidence building.
“And at the end of the eight weeks we will perform a show for friends and families.”
The course tutor will again be Heather Baker, one of only 10 teachers in the UK currently certified to teach Speech Level Singing at Level 2 or beyond.
In 2006 Heather was the singing coach to one of the entrants in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
